HANDS OFF THE EMULSIONS!
With the latest regulatory restrictions on bactericides, many active ingredients have seen their safety labels worsen. This is the case for formaldehyde donors, widely used in the past to preserve emulsions in coolant lubricants, which are now practically banned.
For end customers, this has had a far from positive effect, leading to increasingly frequent treatments by “technical services” to prevent rancid and foul-smelling tanks. However, these treatments often represent a form of doping for emulsions.
It has become common to see staff, under the guise of providing assistance, roaming the workshop pouring various additives into machine tool tanks. The result is that bactericides are added in even larger quantities with less control from the customer.
The DOCTORLUBRA™ Expert System proactively strengthened its products by synergistically balancing biostatic active ingredients, reducing the need for bactericides without compromising the emulsions’ resistance. We focused on raw materials and specific non-hazardous biostatic components to enable more precise and stable pH regulation.
Simply topping up the tanks helps maintain stability for long periods, with the assurance that the chemical hazards are only those listed on the product’s safety data sheet—without the surprise of burns and irritation caused by doping!
